The newest Associate Attorney to Scheiner Law Group, is Macie Alcoser. Macie comes from San Antonio, Texas. For her bachelor’s degree, Macie attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where she studied Political Science and minored in Legal Studies. She graduated with honors and immediately entered law school.
After college, Macie attended Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas, where her passion for criminal defense work sparked. While in law school, she participated in the Texas Tech Criminal Defense Clinic where she held a student bar card. Macie was appointed to represent indigent clients facing felony and misdemeanor offenses, under the supervision of two highly esteemed and experienced criminal defense attorneys, Patrick Metze and Dwight McDonald. As a student attorney with the Criminal Defense Clinic, Macie won the Top-Grade Award and Distinction Award for the dedicated representation she provided to her clients. She also received a distinction award in Texas Criminal Procedure, Legal Research, and Legal Practice writing course. Macie also participated in the American Bar Association National Negotiation Team and the Estate Planning and Community Property journal. She was published in the Estate Planning and Community Property journal and was featured in the ABA Probate and Property Magazine.Macie graduated Texas Tech University School of Law with honors and immediately moved to Houston, Texas, to start her journey as a criminal defense attorney. Before coming to Scheiner Law Group, Macie clerked for a Houston criminal defense law firm that diligently represented clients with mental illness. She has a passion and understanding for all clients facing criminal charges.
Macie is excited to bring her zealous advocacy to Scheiner Law Group. She has the desire to represent her clients aggressively, with compassion, and diligence as she navigates her clients through the criminal justice process.
